About the Training
LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day, interactive workshop designed to provide participants with the skills and confidence to intervene when someone is experiencing thoughts of suicide.
Through discussion, presentations, videos, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to:
Develop a safety plan to help keep someone safe-for-now and connect them with further support.
Talk openly about personal and community attitudes surrounding suicide.
Recognize opportunities to provide suicide first-aid.
Build confidence and capacity to respond effectively to someone at risk of suicide.
Attendance is required on both full days to receive ASIST certification.

Dates: Thursday, September 10 & Friday, September 11, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM each day
Lunch: One-hour lunch break each day
